After taking First Year Transitions during my freshmen year, I have been using the information in nearly all of my class on how to cite articles in my papers. One thing that was important was to have a reputable print source whether it be peer-reviewed, a scholarly source or a journal or scientific study. After reviewing the four articles, I will do my best to explain if the information can be considered reputable. As for the article from the Washington Post, I think a dead giveaway is the fact that this article is under “Opinions”. That would be the first thing to suggest that this is an opinion piece than a credible source.
